Private 7097 John JENNINGS. C Coy, 1st Battalion, King’s Own Regiment. Born 1883 at Hulme, enlisted at Manchester on the 7th May 1902 and was a labourer prior to enlistment. He was accidentally shot on Pembroke Ranges, Malta 11 February 1903 aged 20 years . His mother, Mary, brother to George, Annie, Harriet, Alice, Susan, Sarah A, and William H, all were granted part of a war gratuity granted on the 3rd April 1903.
