John HUDSPITH

HUDSPITH, John. Private 44157, 12th North Staffordshire regiment , died of wounds in France on the 29th July 1918 aged 24. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth of 209, Firs Lane, Leigh, previously 48, Lark Lane, Leigh and brother of James who also fell. He is commemorated on a separate memorial on a family grave in Leigh Cemetery, Lancashire. He is at rest in La Kreule Military Cemetery, Hazebrouck, France.
