- John George HAWDON. Apprentice, of Senglea. Died 21st May 1919 aged 19 years. Born 1900 at Gillingham Kent to Nicholas Gibson and Sarah Ann Hawdon nee Curran. 1901 He was residing with his parents and brother, William born 1897, at 107 Kings Street, Gillingham. Fathers occupation, steam engine fitter. 1911, no trace of the family, they may have been in Malta and his father working at Naval Dockyard, Valletta.
