- JOHN FREDERICK TAYLOR Able Seaman C/JX171503 Royal Navy HMS Kingston. Died 5 April 1942 through enemy action on Malta. His ship at this time, was in dry dock at HM Dockyard, Malta. The ship was in dock for repairs after an enemy attack. Son of William Richard and Harriet Taylor of Burham, Kent.
