Captain John Frederick Gilbert SNELL. Royal Horse Artillery, died 2 July 1955, 60 Born in 1895 at Normanton, Derbyshire to Frederick and Eliza Jane, nee Williams. In 1901 the family were living at St Thomas Road, Normanton. In 1911 the family had moved to Castle Hill, Duffield, Derbyshire. In 1920 he was married to Florence Mary Ducros
