Extended Description: FITZSIMONS John. Gunner, 3598158, 5 Battery, 4th Heavy Anti Aircraft Regiment , Royal Artillery, died 25th May 1942, aged 23 years. The son of William and Catherine Fitzsimons, of Bransty, Whitehaven, Cumberland. Inscribed on his memorial, "Across the ocean foam he died for his loved ones far from home".
