Here lieth the body of John EGERTON-WARBURTON of Arley. Captain Scots Guards who was born December 13 1883 to Piers Egerton-Warburton, of Arley Hall, Northwich. Husband of Lettice Egerton-Warburton (now Mrs. Waters), of 9, Berkeley Square, London. Died August 30 1915 from wounds received in France at the Second Western General Hospital, Whitworth Street, Manchester. His effects went to Lettice Egerton Warburton, widow and Geoffrey Egerton Warburton, captain, Cheshire Yeomanry. At rest in a Family Vault in St Mary and All Saints Church, Great Budworth, Cheshire.
