John Charles MILES. Corporal 6394710, 4th The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment). Son of John Charles and Fanny Elizabeth Miles, and husband of Rose Gertrude Miles nee Robinson, of Brighton, Sussex. Died 24th April 1941 aged 36. In 1911 aged 6 he was living with his parents and siblings at 6 Norfolk Street Lewes Sussex.

Frederick John HOPKINSON. Lance Bombardier 1503028, 27th Battery, 7th Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery.
On the 27 June 1941 At 22:30 hrs, three battle casualties were treated at Tal Qroqq Anti Aircraft position.

The other two were taken by ambulance to 90 General Hospital, Imtarfa, Malta, both survived.
No 1503040 L/Bdr F Hart. Fractured his left femur and had burns to the abdomen and No 1531679 Gnr Williams had lacerations to his right hand and burns of his right leg. Their wounds were dressed at the MAP (Medical Aid Post) before being casevaced to 90 General Hospital.

John MILLAR. Fusilier 3311596, 2nd Royal Irish Fusiliers. Died 24th July 1942.

All at rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta. Plot 06. Row 06 Grave 05.
