Jessie Roberts VAD Nurse. 1901 she was residing with her patents William Henry and Jane Roberts and her siblings at 32 Mill Street, Newtownards, County 1911 the family had moved to 99 Mill Street. She enlisted 8 May 1917 as an assistant cook. residing at the Gas Works, Donaghadee, County Down. From the 5 May 1917 to 8 June 1919 working at 1st South General Hospital Birmingham transferred on the 8 June 1919 to Abbeville Military Hospital, France. She was being paid £20 a year.
