- Jeannette Elizabeth FOOT. nee Luxton Wife of Colour 351 Sergeant George William Foot, 1st Gordon Highlanders. Born 1861 at Torpoint, Cornwall. 8 March 1881 at Chatham, North Kent married George William Foot. Residing with her husband in married quarters at Floriana Barracks, Malta in 1881. Died at Malta 5th September 1887 aged 26 years. Erected by the Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and Men of K Company as a mark of esteem and respect.

Her husband George William Foot died in service 26 March 1889 at Trincomalle, North Eastern Sri Lanka and is at rest in St Stephen’s Church yard Trincomalee Sri Lanka.
