Below are the sons Simeon and Elizabeth Slater of Wilmslow, Cheshire. 11891 James and George were bother residing with their patents and siblings at Old Lane, Wimslow, Cheshire, 1901 both with their parents and siblings 52 Newtown, Wimslow. 1911 George was in India with the army aged 25 years. Their parents at the time of George's death in 1919 were residing at The Bungalow, Hawthorn Street Wilmslow.
Commemorated a family memorial at Wilmslow Cemetery, Cheshire.

Private 8646, James SLATER. Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Born at Wimslow. Enlisted 7 February 1902 along with his brother George. Civilian occupation, labourer. died 17 November 1907 aged 23 at Agra, India. His father was granted a gratuity 7 February 1908.

His brother George SLATER, Private 8643, 2nd Royal Welsh Fusiliers transfered to the Labour Corps at Private 643595. that being his unit at the time of death on the 10 May 1919 aged 32 years. He enlisted 7 February 1902 along with his brother James
