HOMES James. Private, 17990, 2nd Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers, died 25th April 1918, aged 24 years. The son of Fred J. and Mary E. Homes, of 49 Wellington Lane, Ayres Quay, Sunderland.
HIRST Harry. Private, 33513, 185th Coy., Machine Gun Corps (Inf.), formerly 4606, West Riding Regiment. Died 28th April 1918 on H M Hospital Ship, Rewa from Mesopotamia to Malta. He was born in 1889 to Wright and Sarah Ann Hirst. In 1911 he was living with his wife Florrie, (nee Hallas) and daughter, Annie at 11 Milners Yard, South Street, Huddersfield, Yorkshire.
JONES John Private, 20232, 9th East Lancashire Regiment. Died 30th April 1918 in a hospital in Malta of a malignant growth right adrenal which was detected while on active service at Salonika. Born at Miles Platting, Manchester.
