James CRAIG, Isaac KIRTON, George Alfred LAYCOCK

Extended Description
CRAIG James. Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant 2057, Fife and Forfar Yeomanry, He was severely wounded in the Mediterranean and died of his wounds at sea 26th December 1915 en route to a hospital in Malta.

KIRTON Isaac . Sapper, 43319, 72nd Field Company, Royal Engineers, died 25th December 1915, aged 26 years. He was the son of Isaac and Sarah Jane Kirton, of Lincoln Road, Metheringham, Lincolnshire.

LAYCOCK George Alfred. Private, 6310, 6th, East Lancashire Regiment. He was taken ill in Gallipoli and he died in Malta on the 20th December 1915. He was born in Bacup, Lancashire to Alfred and Alice who in 1911 were living at 6, Nuttall Buildings, Newchurch, parish of Rawtenstall, Lancashire. George was employed as a labour.
