Jagdpanzer SK105 Kurassier

To meet the Austrian Army requirement for a tank destroyer, Sauer (taken over by Steyr-Daimler-Puch in 1970) began development of the SK105 in 1965.Using many components of the 4K 4F APC,the first prototype appeared two years later,followed by five pre production vehicles in 1971. It entered service with the Austrian Army soon afterwards. The turret is an improved version of the FL-12 found on the AMX-13.
