Flight Lieutenant Ian Maurice REDWOOD No. 5202173U Royal Air Force.
Died in a flying accident whilst on duty 25 March 1985 aged 30.

He was part of a two man crew in a Scottish Aviation Bulldog T1 Registration XX660. He departed from RAF Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The pilot was doing a spin which it failed to recover from. The plane crashed into a field at Ducklington near Witney, Oxfordshire. Both baled out but the instructor (Flt Lt Redwood) was killed when was detached from his parachute.

At rest at Down Ampney All Saints Churchyard, Gloucestershire.
