HUMPHRIES Sydney

Trooper Sydney HUMPHRIES C Squadron, 11th Hussars, Royal Armoured Corps killed in action 2nd August 1944 aged 36. He was the son of Ernest and Ellen and was the husband of Doris Edna of Kingston, Jamaica. He is commemorated on a plaque at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire and he is at rest in Bayeux War Cemetery, France.
