ALLCOCK Samuel. Sgt 11366, 12 Manchester Regt died 7/7/1916. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme France
BROOKES Benjamin. 2nd Lt 1st North Staffs Regt died 21/3/1918 age 28. Son of Thomas and Georgina E of Will Gate, Rudyard, Leek, Staffs. Commemorated on the Poziers Memorial, Somme
BAILEY Harry. M.M. Cpl 805431, C Battery, 231st Brigade, Royal Field Artillery Killed in action 10 January 1917. Son of Isaac and Harriet Bailey nee Morris, of Harpers Gate, Rudyard, Staffordshire, brother of Isaac who also fell. At rest in Bienvillers Military Cemetery, France.
BAILEY Isaac. Pte 16995 4th Bedford Regt. Born in Longsden, lived and enlisted in Leek, both of Staffordshire. killed in action 15 April 1917 aged 38. Son of Isaac and Harriet Bailey nee Morris, of Harpers Gate, Rudyard, Staffordshire, brother of Henry. Commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France.
