TREMLETT, Horace Vivian. Lance Corporal (1537, Mounted Military Police who passed away on the 17th January 1917 aged 33 as the result of shell shock received while serving in France. He was the husband Maude Marian Tremlett, 13 Regent Street, Leamington Spa. He is at rest in Whitnash Road, Cemetery, Leamington, Warwickshire.

He joined up on the 8th June 1915 at Aldershot aged 32 and 336 days. He was living at 25 Chesham Street, Leamington and was by occupation a police constable. He had previously served for 12 years with the Royal Horse Guards. He was married on the 20th October 1915 to spinster, Maude Marion Moss at St Mary\'s church, Leamington Spa, they had one child, Mary Marion born 23rd December 1916 in Leamington. On the 27th July 1915 he was posted to France and was invalided to England 12th April 1916. The next day he was admitted into the Royal Victoria Hospital, Netley, Southampton, Hampshire and on the 18th April he was transferred to The County of Middlesex War Hospital, Napsbury suffering from general paralysis of the insane He was discharged from the army as no longer physically fit for war service on the 4th June 1916.
