- Horace Stanley George DARLEY. DSO. 609 (West Riding) Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force. 1940 Fought in the Battle of Britain flying a Supermarine Spitfire.
Squadron Leader Horace ‘George’ Darley DSO 1940 Born 3rd November 1913 to Lumsden Colin Darley and Emily Gertrude Dettmer. Died 29th December 1999 at Tunbridge Wells.
