HILTON Bertie

HILTON Bertie, Private 8389, 1st South Staffordshire Regiment died 19th September 1918 aged 28. His medal card shows he embarked on the 20th October 1914 and he was discharged from the army on the 2nd December 1916. He may have been the son of William and Rose Ellen who in 1911 was living with his family and parents at Court 7, 6, Wolverhampton Street, Willenhall. He is at rest in Bentley Cemetery, Willenhall, Staffordshire
