Hickin William Henry

Private, who fell the Zulu War.

Born 1854 and was the son of Henry & Hannah of (1891) High Street, Hanley.
His father was a Locksmith and Bell hanger. William was a clerk. He is commemorated on a window in St John's Church, Hanley, which has been closed for some twenty years, (No photo can be found of this window) He is also commemorated on a memorial in Hanley Cemetery, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire
