Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Rowland, of "Royal Oak," Horninglow, Burton-on-Trent. Native of Repton, Derbyshire.

At rest at Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel.

Commemorated on a family headstone at

Horninglow St John Churchyard, Staffordshire.
