- PARKES Herbert. Private, 16621 C Coy, 7th North Staffordshire Regiment. Died 9th December 1915 aged 21 years from the effects of gas, frost bite and gangrene in a hospital in Malta. on of Herbert and Ann Parkes, nee Coombs of 98 Botteslow Street, Hanley, Stoke on Trent.
