Private Herbert Bell IRVING No. 56688, 14th Highland Light Infantry
Died 9 April 1918 aged 19.

Son of James and Fanny Brown Irving. In 1901 he was living at 10 Victoria Street, Penninghame, Wigtownshire with his parents and siblings.

Commemorated at Ploegsteert Memorial, Belgium

His father James Irving died in the Boer War in South Africa and is also commemorated on this headstone.

Commemorated on a family headstone at

Newton Stewart Cemetery, Scotland.
