BAXTER Herbert. Gunner 917032, 51st Medium Regiment, Royal Artillery died on the 22nd May 1944 aged 33 at Cassino, Italy. He the son of George Butcher and Elizabeth was the husband of Mary Ann of Birkenhead. He is commemorated on his wife's memorial in Landican Cemetery, Birkenhead, Cheshire, and he is at rest in Cassino War Cemetery, Italy.
