Died 15 May 1915 aged 27 of pneumonia in Holywood Hospital, County Down. It may have been the UVF Hospital at, Knocknagoney, near Holywood. His mother was granted a war gratuity 10 September 1915 revised 31 July 1919.
At rest in Holywood Cemetery, Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland.
