MERCER-SMITH Harry. Lance Corporal, 995, 9th Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds, 17th June 1915, aged 22 years. The son of Sydney and Amy Mercer-Smith, of Camoola, Gladstone Road, South Brisbane, Queensland.
ALLSEBROOK Gerald Gilbert Stanley. Private 1395, Private, 1st Clearing Hospital, Australian Army Medical Corps. Died from his wounds, 20th June 1915 on Hospital Ship, Sicilia at sea.

He joined up at Hobart Barracks, Tasmania on the 21st September 1914 aged 20. He lived with his parents, William and Agnes Martha at 16 Star Street, Hobart, his occupation was a painter. He embarked Hobart for the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force via England on the 5th December 1915. He received a gun shot wound which resulted in a compound fracture to his left Tibia and Fibula while in action at Gallipoli. At some stage he was invalided to Malta on Hospital Ship, Sicilia where he succumed to his injuries on the 20th June 1915..
BIRDSALL William John. Trooper, 13/232, Auckland Mounted Rifles, N.Z.E.F. Died of his wounds, 22nd June 1915, aged 20 years. The son of John Bowden and Isabel Birdsall, of Whangateau, Rodney, New Zealand.
