HARRY AUGUSTINE HINE

Extended Description: Harry Augustas HINE. Royal Navy Born 24 June 1866 in Kingston, Hampshire, enlisted 29 November 1882 on HMS St Vincent as Boy 2nd Class 121484 and left the navy as Petty Officer 1st Class, 5th May 1891. He re-entered the navy on the 7 May 1891 on HMS Fearless aged 24 years as Acting Boatswain. Promoted to Lieutenant 1 May 1916, Lieutenant Commander 1 May 1924.
Died 10 March 1948 at 20 Clarence Parade, Portsmouth. Residence 1948, Shiloh Inlands Road, Nutbourne, Chichester. His effects went to Mary Alice Hine, nee Ross, widow.

His 1st wife Alice Maude Mary Hine nee Kitt is at rest in Plot G Grave 31, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
