Extended Description: SCHOFIELD Harold, Lance Corporal, 36474, 7th East Lancashire Regiment killed in action in France 20th July 1917 aged 25. Son of James & Harriet of 5, Clifton Street, Alderley Edge, and husband of Lily of meadowfield, Durham.

Commemorated on his parents' memorial in Alderley Edge Cemetery, Cheshire and also on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West Vlaanderen, Belgium
