The Lych Gate to the parish church is the memorial. The names are two panels one each side for each war.


This Lych gate was erected by the parishioners and friends in memory of the gallant men of Hardwicke who gave their lives for their King and Country during the Great War 1914-1918

BARROW Lionel Valentine Pte, 16141, 1st Gloucestershire Regt, died on Saturday 9/1/1915. Son of Alfred and Martha Barrow of Old Hall, Hardwicke. And next door neighbour of Edward Frank Nash who also fell Buried at St Sever Cemetery, Rouen, France.
DAVIS Reginald Pte 17460, 10th Gloucestershire Regt, died of wounds on Monday 25/9/1916 age 23. Son of George Emma Davis nee Smith and husband of Minnie E Davis,nee Bailey of Brooklyn Villa, Naas Crossing, Quedegley. Native of Hardwicke. Buried at Etaples Military cemetery, France
FREEMAN Alfred John Pte 31414, 2/5th Gloucestershire Regt, died of wounds, 28/6/1918 age 19. Son of Alfred and Charlotte Linda Freeman, nee Phillips of Elmore Lane, Quedgeley, Glos. Buried at South Western Cemetery, Berlin, Germany.
LLOYD-BAKER Michael Granville Lloyd Capt, A Sqdn, Royal Gloucestershire Hussars died 23/4/1916. Son of Mr & Mrs G.E. Lloyd-Baker, husband of Blanche of The Cottage, Hardwick. Commemorated on the Jerusalem Memorial, Israel. This memorial have him as De-Baker
