H.M.S. Gibraltar, Monument. Tabraxia Cemetery, Malta.
This monument is erected by the Officers and Seaman of H.M.S. Gibraltar.

Panel 1
Sacred to the memory of
Frank WELLER. Ordinary Seaman, died 27th October 1863 aged 18 years.
Frederick William HEDDITCH. Ordinary Seaman died 28th November 1863 aged 18 years.
George SAUNDERS. 2nd Captain of the Fore Top, killed by accident, he fell from one of the yards onto the deck 11th October 1864 aged 27 years. Native of Ireland.
John Frederick DUPREE. Ordinary Seaman ,killed by accident 11th October 1864 aged 20 years. He was hit by Captain George Saunders.
Thomas COLLINS. Captain. Accidentally killed by a mizen top 9th January 1864 aged 23 years.
James WALLER. Able Seaman drowned 26th August 1864 aged 26 years
Frederick SLADE. Ordinary Seaman died 11th November 1864 aged 20 years. Native of Plymouth.

Sacred to the memory of
Henry CARDALE, Lieutenant, Royal Navy who departed 23rd December 1865 aged 32 years. Injured on duty. His effects went to his brother George Cardale if 3 Old Square, Lincoln's Inn, Middlesex. Barrister-at-Law.
Edward BAMPTON. Signalman died 29th June 1865 aged 23 years.
Thomas DAVID. Ordinary Seaman died 9th November 1865 aged 21 years.
Henry WOOLEY. Able Seaman died 11th December 1865 aged 21 years.
Philip DUCKWORTH. Ordinary Seaman died 22nd December 1865 aged 21 years.
William SARGENT. Able Seaman died 7th November 1866 aged 32 years.
Charles TILLEY. Able Seaman died 8th November 1866 aged 21 years. Native of Sussex.
