SUNLEY, Allen, Sergeant, 35 squadron Royal Air Force, killed in action 10th August 1943 aged 23. He was the son of Alfred and Nora of Guisborough. He is commemorated on his parents memorial in Guisborough Cemetery, Yorkshire and he is at rest in Rheinberg War Cemetery, Germany

WILD Ernest. Private 4396917, 1st Green Howards died 11th August 1943 aged 32. Son of James Ernest and Elizabeth Ann Wild, of Guisborough, Yorkshire. At rest in Catania War Cemetery, Sicily, Italy.


WILD James Francis. Steward P/LX30958 Royal Navy of HMS Tweed died 7th January 1944 aged 19. Son of James Ernest and Elizabeth Ann Wild, of Guisborough, Yorkshire. Commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial, Hampshire.


WILKIN, Loftus, Sapper 1983547, 107 Field Coy, Royal Engineers, died 12th July 1945 aged 45. He was the son of James Bennington Wilkin and Annie Wilkinwho in 1911 were living at Lovehill near Guisborough and was the husband of Annie Elizabeth Wilkin, of Guisborough. At rest in Guisborough Cemetery, Yorkshire

BODINNER Joan, Civilian N.A.A.F.I. died 9th May 1941 aged 28 at RAF Station Waddington, Lincolnshire. Lived at 6 Allison Street, Guisborough, Yorkshire. Daughter of the late William John and Sarah Ann Bodinner, nee Griffiths of Saltburn, Yorkshire. Death registered at North Kesteven, Lincolnshire.


SCALES Gordon. Cadet, Merchant Navy of S.S. Oporto (Liverpool) died 13th March 1943 aged 17. Son of James and Harmah Elizabeth Scales, of Thornaby-on-Tees, Yorkshire. Commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial, London.
