Private 24074947 James Albert GRAHAM (BEM), C. Company, 4th County Fermanagh Battalion . He was shot dead as he drove his bus to St Mary's Friday School to take children to a swimming pool on the 1st February 1985 aged 39. Two other brothers were also murdered by the IRA whilst serving with the UDR.

He is at rest in Aghavea Parish Cemetery, Brookborough, County Fermanagh.

The QUEEN has been graciously pleased to approve the award of the British Empire Medal (Military Division) to the undermentioned in recognition of meritorious service in Northern Ireland during the period 1st May 1983 to 30th September 1983 Private 24074947 James Albert Graham plus eight others.
