Bernard GIBBS 6th attached to the 1st Rifle Brigade. Son of George R. and Elizabeth Gibbs, of Rycott, St. Helens Park Rd., Hastings. Educated at Pencarwick, Exmouth, Macclesfield Grammar School, Shrewsbury, and Pembroke College, Cambridge.
M C, Mentioned in Despatches
Buried at Talana Farm Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium.He is also commemorated on the War Memorial, King's School, Macclesfield, Cheshire.
