Giat Industries takes a very active part in the renewal of Artillery. Building on its 155mm SP Gun Mk F3, 155mm GCT SP Gun or 155mm Towed Gun TR, Giat Industries has introduced a complete family of fully NATO interoperable 155mm / 52-calibre weapon systems: TR G2 Towed Gun, AUF2 SP Gun and CAESAR Truck-Mounted Artillery System. Giat Industries has more than 1,000 artillery systems in operation worldwide.
For rapid deployment forces Giat Industries offers the 105 LG1 Mk II, an advanced 105mm NATO light weight towed gun. Giat Industries also provides simple and performing retrofit kits to enhance older equipments such as the US M114 and US M101, and develops and produces a comprehensive range of artillery rounds including extended range or competent ammunition like BONUS.
