SdKfz 250 and Schwimmwagen, Italy 1943.

Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 16 (Pz.A.A.16) was organic to 16. Panzer-Division. The photo was taken in Italy and show some captured British webbing and an entrenching tool stowed on the rear. 16. Pz. Div. was stationed in Italy between July and November 1943. It's first combat operations in Italy were at Salerno in September against American Forces. On 2 October 1943 the division was transferred east to the Adriatic coast to confront the British near Foggia.
