NEWTON Gerald. Private, 3251, Suffolk Yeomanry, died 1st November 1915, aged 21 years. Born and lived at Warboys, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Son of George Saunders and Mary Ann, nee Newport, of Malzie Lodge, Hills Avenue, Cambridge.
HOUSTON Archibald. Private, 2638, 4th Royal Scots (Queen’s Edinburgh Rifles). Died of wounds 30th October 1915 in Malta, from injuries received in Gallipoli, aged 20 years. Son of Peter and Jane Houston, nee Bowmanof 4 Sandwell Street, Buckhaven, Fifeshire.
GRUNDY Ralph. Private, 6872, 6th East Lancashire Regiment. Died from injuries or disease 31st October 1915 at Malta while on active service at Gallipoli. His widow, Mary E was granted a war gratuity on the 21st February 1916.
