Extended Description: Lieutenant Commander George William WELLBURN R.D. (Reserve Decoration) Royal Naval (VR) on H.M. Yacht Riannon (Patrol Boat).
Killed 20 July 1915 in the Great War.

Brother of Elizabeth Jane Wellburn, Sheen Cottage, Fyling-Thorpe.

Commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial, Kent.

Commemorated on a family memorial in St Stephen’s Churchyard, Fylingdales, Yorkshire.
