George William PARNHAM

PARNHAM, George William. Late Colour Sergeant 1032, Royal Marine Artillery, (of Wolverhampton) died 27th January 1916 aged 60. He was born in 1856 at Rolleston, Nottinghamshire, to William and Mary Ann and was the husband of Isabella Mary, nee Cox who he married on the 6th August 1885 at Walmer, Kent. He enlisted on the 21st July 1875 In 1911 he was living with his wife at the General Post Office, Lichfield Street, Wolverhampton. He was a mail cleaner and a Naval Pensioner.

At rest in Wolverhampton Merridale Cemetery.
