George Norman ADAMS

ADAMS, George Norman. Captain 6th South Staffordshire Regiment. He was born on 11th December 1889 and he was the younger son of George North Adams and Fanny Cadman Adams of Summerfield, Wolverhampton. Joined His Majesty\'s Forces in 1914 was wounded at Gommecourt 1916 and died in his country\'s service on the 20th October 1918 at the 4th Northern General Hospital Lincoln. Mourned by all who knew him. "Greater love hath no man than this" At rest in Wolverhampton Cemetery, Staffordshire.
