George NIXON. Private 331711, C Company 1/ 9th Liverpool Regiment fell in action near Flers, France on the 25th September 1916 aged 21. Nephew of (above)William and Mary Lambsdale of 5 Yardley Street, Norton Green, Staffordshire and son of James and Hannah Nixon. Commemorated on his Aunt and Uncle memorial in St Ann's churchyard, Brown Edge, Staffordshire also on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France
