Died 27 June 1918

George Edward LOUD. B.A. (Reverend) Private 648314, 20th (County of London) Battalion (Blackheath and Woolwich) London Regiment, formerly 534420, 15th London Regiment. Died from pneumonia as a prisoner of war in(memorial has Germany) on the 27 June 1918 in Reserve Hospital Bottrop, Prussia. Second son of Mark and Rebecca Walker Loud. In 1891 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 12 Stoke Road, Shelton, Stoke on Trent.

Wills and Admin, Ancestry. He resided at the Royal Masonic School, Bushby, Hertfordshire, clerk. Died at date and place stated. His effects went to Frederick Watts Lea and Charles Gamble, schoolmasters.

At rest at Cologne Southern Cemetery, Germany.

Commemorated on a family headstone at

Hanley Cemetery, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
