George BENTLEY

Extended Description
Sergeant RMA/8372, George BENTLEY, Royal Marine Artillery attached to the 74th Seige Battery, South African Heavy Artillery, killed in action at Courelles, France 29t November 1916 aged 33. Son of John and Hannah Bentley and brother of Thomas, who also fell, of The Row, Cubley.
Commemorated on a family memorial at St Andrews churchyard, Cubley, Staffordshire.
At rest in Courcelles-Au-Bois Communal Cemetery Extension, France
