THOMPSON George Albert . Private, 4173, 5th, Norfolk Regiment, died 3rd October 1915, aged 21 years. He was the son of William and Elizabeth Thompson, of Gonville Terrace, Terrington St. Clement, Kings Lynn.
ROBBINS Walter. Stoker 1st Class, SS/115704, Royal Navy, HMS Europa, Died of appendicitis at Military Hospital, Tigne, Malta on the 1st October 1915. He was born on the 27th April 1893 at Middlesbrough, Yorkshire formerly a plate layer. His parents Joseph Henry and Alice lived at 35 Oliver Street, South Bank, York City. His Naval Records show he enlisted on the 13th May 1914.

Joseph Henry Robbins also served in the war. He joined up on the 1st October 1915 and was posted as Private 123149, Labour Section, Royal Engineers. He embarked for France on the 1st September 1915 and left France on the 22nd June 1916 for England. He was on a Medical Board on the 25th August 1916 where he was medically discharged to pension as being physically unfit for war duty. He was suffering from and old leg problem which originated four year previous in Middlesbrough. He was unable to march and had wasting of his muscle of his thigh left leg. He also sustained while at the front a burn to left lower eyelid. In December 1915 he was cooking tea when he got a piece of burning stick blown against his left lower eyelid. It was noted on his medical board his eyelid shows scarring and chronic ulceration, he was aged 44.
McGRANAGHAN William. Private, 2486, 29th Division, Cyclist Company, Army Cyclist Corps, formerly 9313 Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. He died of cerebral abscess 1st October 1915 at Malta. Born in Templemore, County of Londonderry, Ireland.
