killed 28th Feb 1985, when he was a RUC Full Time Reserve along with 8 other RUC comrades during the Newry Station mortar attack, he had previously served in 3 UDR.
The date on the plaque is incorrect
He is commemorated memorial plaque at the UDR Memorial, Ulster Ash Grove, National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
