Extended Description: William John GEACH. Leading Cook, D/M8597 Royal Navy on HMS Resolution. Born 4th September 1895 at Plymouth Devon enlisted 4th September 1914 on HMS Vivid I occupation prior to enlistment, butcher. Married 1923 in Plymouth to Gwendoline M Gosling. Died 3rd May 1931 aged 35 years at the Royal Naval Hospital Bighi, Malta of pleurisy and empyema, left. Loving husband of Gwen and dear daddy of Babs, (Gwendoline L, born 1924).
Memorial erected by his shipmates.

At rest in Plot D Grave 605 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta
