GAVIN Tenneys

GAVIN Tenneys, Chief Petty Officer C/J5298 H.M.S. Fledging, Royal Navy died on the 11th October 1945 aged 53. He was born in Bermondsey, London on the 12th October 1892 to Alexander and Mary Jane Gavin and husband of Alice Maud Gavin, of Newcastle-under-Lyme. In 1911 he was in the Royal Navy as Ordinary seaman in the Mediterranean. In 1919 he was living at 206, Lynton Road, Bermondsey, 1938 He was now working at Beer Retailer and living at 87, Britton Street, Gillingham, Kent. He is at rest in Newcastle-under-Lyme Cemetery, Staffordshire
