- Private 30022083 Gareth Leslie William BELLINGHAM. 3rd Mercian Regiment. Born 21st November 1988 killed in action 18th June 2011. The Mercian Regiment. Stood firm and Struck hard.

During the patrol, a local Afghan was injured by an improvised explosive device. As C Company were providing security, insurgents fired upon the patrol and Private Bellingham was fatally wounded near Khar Nikar, Afghanistan. At rest in grave 16704 Newcastle-under-Lyme Cemetery, Staffordshire.
