G076 SIDNEY SAMUEL CLARK. 2nd Engineer, Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessel Boxol. Born 1887 at Portsmouth to Samuel McGaw and Alice Maria Evans Clark, nee Malone. 1891 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 34 Brougham Road, Portsea, Hampshire. 1901 he was residing with his widowed grandmother, Henrietta Malone at 5 Hampshire Terrace, Portsmouth. In 1913 at Portsea he married Lillie Mary Dinham. Died in Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta 8 June 1922 aged 35 of a fracture to the base of his skull.
Memorial states Clarke, birth surname was Clark.

At rest in Plot G grave 74 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
