Norman John Wragg B.A. (CANTAB). Lieutenant, 3/1st South Staffordshire Regiment who died at Rouen hospital on July 18th 1916 aged 26 from wounds received at High Wood in the Battle of the Somme on the 14th July 1916. . Youngest son of John Downing Wragg and Maria Wragg, of Eureka Lodge, Swadlincote, Derbyshire. On reserve of Officers since 1913. Educated at Uppingham and Clare College, Cambridge. Mechanical Tripos. A.M.I.C.E. His brother Frederick William also fell. Commemorated on the Wragg Family Memorial in the churchyard of St Wystan, Bretby, Derbyshire.

Fredrick William Wragg, , Captain (Temporary Major) 1/5th Sherwood Foresters who was killed in action on July 1st 1916 aged 34 near Commecourt whilst gallantly leading his men though wounded. Third son of John Downing Wragg and Maria Wragg, of Eureka Lodge, Swadlincote, Derbyshire His brother Norman John also fell. Mentioned in Despatches 1st January 1916 for gallant and distinguished conduct.
